Fabulous Feast for Rabbits Filipino Vegan Event at Vernon’s in Sawgrass Marriott

We attended another fabulous Feast for Rabbits Vegan Event at Sawgrass Marriott. It’s always nice to see familiar faces and meet new friends!

It was such an exciting Filipino inspired menu that Chef Riley and Chef Melanie did an outstanding job with the scrumptious dishes they created.

The Location: Sawgrass Marriott Vernon’s First Coast Kitchen & Bar on Sunday, June 2nd at 5:30pm starting with drinks & appetizers and a scrumptious 4-course sit-down dinner.

Did I mention all the dishes were vegan and you can request gluten free options. Here’s the srumptious 4-course sit-down dinner:

1ST COURSE: SIO MAI – DUMPLING sweet potato, fresh peas, chili, garlic dipping sauce

2ND COURSE: PICKLED PAPAYA ENSALADA papaya, cucumber, red onion, chard, calmansi vinaigrette

3RD COURSE: FIRST COAST PANCIT – stir fried rice noodles, cabbage, local vegetables, fresh herbs

4TH COURSE: CELERIAC KALDERETA celery root stew, potato, local vegetables, rice

DESSERT: PB AND J TURON lumpia, house made peanut butter, emily g’s triple berry jam, banana

COCKTAIL PAIRING: MELON SA MALAMIG Cantaloupe, calmansi, blackberry pearls, St. Germaine’s
