Simple Guava Jam Recipe

We picked some fresh guavas from our friend’s yard and have been eating it all week. Today I am craving fresh sweet guava jam so I made this simple jam. What’s your favorite fruit Jam?

  1. Cut guavas in half.
  2. Place in pot with water and boil for 30 minutes.
  3. Scoop out seeds with a spoon.
  4. Add guavas to blender and roughly chop the guava shells.
  5. Pour the blended guavas to the pot and add date sugar, ground cinnamon, cardamom and ginger in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened into the consistency of a jam.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  8. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until completely chilled. Enjoy!
