Super Healthy, Veggie & Fruits Power Smoothie
Eat more fruits and veggies! The easiest thing you can make is a smoothie, and it is so nutritious for you. A smoothie with fruits and veggies is super healthy! Use what you have and tailor to your tastes by adding veggies and fruit of choice. The first thing to do is add all the greens like kale, spinach, romaine then veggies & fruits of choice. Add what you have on hand or your favorite fruit. Fruit can be fresh or frozen. Add some chopped dates, cinnamon, chia seed, flax seed, hemp seed, coconut water, turmeric, ginger, berries, etc. Have it for breakfast, lunch, post work-out, great way to refuel your body. It is not hard, it's easy, simple and delicious, filled with good carbs and fuel for your body. Fill up your smoothie with lots of fruits and veggies!
- 2 cups Fresh or Frozen Mixed Spinach and Kale
- 3 chopped dates
- 1/4 tspn cinnamon
- 1 tspn chia seed, or flax seed, or hemp seed,
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1/2 tspn turmeric
- 1 small piece ginger
- 1 Tbsp Moringa Powder
Place all base ingredients in a blender then add veggie and fruit of choice.
Blend on high for 1 minute, stir add more coconut water as needed.
Serve right away or cover and store in refrigerator. Enjoy!
If you don't have time to make it in the morning make it the night before. Pick your favorite fruits and vegetables and place in the blender and put it in the fridge. Blend in the morning add to a mason jar to go. Enjoy!
